“President Obama said, “I ask every American to commit to at least one year or more of higher education or career training. This can be community college or a four-year school; vocational training or an apprenticeship. But whatever the training may be, every American will need to get more than a high school diploma.”
Many times our students are the first in their family to attend college. Heidi Davison, our Transition Coach, will be your go-to person for answers to your questions and assistance through the entire enrollment process.
Heidi will assist you in completing the FAFSA (financial aid application) as well as helping you find resources to eliminate barriers to your success. In addition, she will provide an On Course class. On Course teaches learner-centered strategies that empower you to become an active, responsible learner while developing your personal skills. You will also have the opportunity to take Student Connect, a Butler orientation class, earning one college credit at no charge to you.
