Courses Needed for Associates Degree

The Addictions Counseling Program enables the student to obtain needed coursework for an Associate in Applied Science degree in Addictions Counseling. The student can then transfer to a four-year college or university and continue work towards a bachelors degree in Addictions Counseling or in another helping profession. The thirty-two certification hours will transfer to a four-year college or university that has a bachelors degree plan in addictions counseling. We currently have a 2+2 plan with Newman University in Wichita and Washburn University in Topeka, KS. The Associate in Applied Science program of study consists of a total of sixty-two credit hours.
