Debbie Sawtelle is the coordinator of the Addictions Counseling Program. Debbie has received an Associate in Arts from Butler Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Education from Emporia State University, and a Master of Education in Counseling and School Psychology from The Wichita State University. Debbie not only coordinates the program but also teaches within it.

She has worked closely with treatment agencies in the Wichita Metro area as well as the surrounding communities. Many of them have served as practicum sites for our students. They have been pleased with our students and some have hired the students upon completion of their certification. Debbie truly has a passion about making a difference and helping others make positive changes in their lives!
