Are You?

• A U.S. Citizen - Application for students who are Instate or Out-of-state.
• An International or Immigant Permanent Resident- Application for students who are a non-U.S. Citizen and/or a Permanent Resident.
• A Returning Student to Butler - Application for students who have attended Butler within the last year.

Tips for filling out the Application for Admissions:

1. Fully Complete: It's important to fill out all portions of the application. All the information is for enrollment processing, state and federal reports or for demographic purposes. (Note: Missing or inaccurate information can result in delays in processing your application.)
2. Financial Aid recipients must declare a degree or certificate and/or a major: If you are seeking Federal Financial Aid to help you finance your education you must declare a degree or a certificate program or a major. For more information click here: Financial Aid.
3. Current High School Students: Before a current high school student can take classes while still in high school, they must have on file with the Butler Registrar a High School Release Form. To receive a release form, please call (316)322-3123 or email registrar@butlercc.edu .
4. Residency Status: Individuals who have not lived in Kansas at least 6 months or they have not established residency need to contact the Registrar office to determine their residency status. International students need to contact the International Advising Office. For more information on how to determine your residency status refer to the Registrar's Office.
