Excellence in Diversity Award honorees are movers and shakers – the individuals, companies, and organizations who focus on making our communities more inclusive and better places to live and work. Butler is proud to honor these diversity heroes so others may be inspired by them.

The Awards

• The Butler Community College Community Diversity Award is given to organizations that have demonstrated exceptional leadership by embracing diversity and inclusion in their own workplace and through innovative practices to foster diversity, inclusion and respect in the community. Preference will be given to organizations that have worked collaboratively with Butler Community College in advancing diversity and inclusion through participation, advocacy and support for Advance Kansas.
• The Butler Community College Corporate Diversity Award is given to businesses that have demonstrated exceptional leadership by embracing diversity and inclusion in the workplace and contributing significantly to transforming the community into an inclusive environment. Preference will be given to businesses that have worked collaboratively with Butler Community College in advancing diversity and inclusion through participation, advocacy and support for Advance Kansas.
• The Butler Community College Diversity Leadership Award is given to an individual who has made a difference in their organization and in the community by contributing significantly and over a sustained period of time to advancing diversity, inclusion and respect. Preference will be given to individuals who have worked collaboratively with Butler Community College in advancing diversity and inclusion through participation, advocacy and support for Advance Kansas.
