Mel Whiteside
Before coming to Butler Community College, Mel worked as a professional designer/draftsman and AutoCAD technician in the industry for 13 years. Mel's background includes experience in architecture, plumbing and mechanical, facilities management, and civil design. Mel teaches Graphics I, Graphics II, Residential Design, Commercial Design, Industrial Design, and 3D Model Processes.
Mel is a member of the Kansas Association for Career and Technical Education (K-ACTE), American Design Drafting Association (ADDA), and the Autodesk Users Group International (AUGI).
Carolyn Koehn
Carolyn has taught as an adjunct instructor for Butler Community College since January 2000. Carolyn has professional industry experience as an architectural and piping drafter and AutoCAD technician. Carolyn teaches Graphics I and Graphics II on the El Dorado campus and online.
Carolyn is a member of the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) and the Autodesk Users Group International (AUGI).
