Jim Guenthner

Jim Guenthner is lead English instructor at Butler of Andover. Having received his Bachelor of Arts from Kansas State University and a Master of Arts from Purdue University, he taught sixteen years at Hutchinson Community College. He has been at Butler of Andover for ten years. Jim devotes his time to student learning and serves as an adjunct academic advisor. He was named Outstanding Faculty Member by "The Order of the Purple" in 1998.

Guenthner is a Certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church and was instrumental in establishing a contemporary worship service in his church where he serves as worship leader. Guenthner teaches English Composition and a variety of literature courses at Butler of Andover.
