Anthony Yaghjian, Program Coordinator
Anthony has served in the fire service for thirteen years. Anthony completed an associated of applied science in Fire Science. During his studies, Anthony served on the City Of El Dorado Fire Department as volunteer firefighter. On January 1, 1998 Anthony was hired full time by the City of El Dorado Fire Department. Anthony has completed several national certifications; Emergency Medical Technician, Hazardous Material Specialist, Emergency Service Instructor I, Fire Officer I, and many other certifications associated with the fire service. Anthony served as liaison / training officer for the Volunteer Fire Squad for the City of El Dorado Fire Department. Anthony has progressed through the ranks of the fire department and currently serves as a Sr. Driver / Operator. In 2004 Anthony began instructing fire science courses through Butler Community College. In 2005 Anthony took on the role of coordinator for Butler's Fire Science Program. As coordinator of the fire science program he oversees an instructional staff of approximately fourteen. Anthony has contributed in the development of many of the programs current courses.
