The full-time Lead Carpenter performs all types of construction to include rough-in, finish cabinetry and the related tasks. This position has limited supervisory authority while under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of General Services. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions, possess good communication skills, be able to work other trades and have the ability to safely direct journeymen levels. Must also possess the ability to do trade related mathematics, have a valid driver's license, be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, be able to climb, stoop, bend and work in awkward positions, be able to work indoors or outdoors and be able to read blueprints. A minimum of eight years experience as well as experience in use of trade related equipment is required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Hourly rate of pay: $12.61. Full fringe benefits.

Custodial Technician

This part-time position is responsible for cleaning offices, hallways, stairwells, rest rooms, classrooms, maintenance areas and public areas. Each area will have specific duties to attend to. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be flexible in working routine in order to accommodate the many changes of college events. Must be able to work overtime and adapt to unscheduled activities. Must have knowledge of chemical products use and storage. Must be in good physical health and possess a valid driver's license. Ability to lift 50 lbs. without limitations required as well as knowledge of custodial duties, associated equipment and cleaning solvents. High school diploma or equivalent required. The applicant may be requested to authorize the College to procure a consumer report(s) for employment purposes.
Hourly rate of pay: $8.20. Benefits include paid leave, paid holidays, Butler tuition assistance and retirement plan participation.

Must be in good physical health and possess a valid driver's license. Ability to lift 50 lbs. without limitations required as well as knowledge of custodial duties, associated equipment and cleaning solvents. Three years of general custodial experience required with supervisory experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. English/Literature Instructor
