About Hospitality Management

Hospitality is an Art

Study hospitality at Butler Community College’s Wichita campus and learn the ins and outs of managing a domestic or international hotel. When you learn the details of managing a hotel, you understand the reality of staying on budget and understanding the bottom-line. Through the use of dynamic pricing, customer loyalty techniques and staff management, and you keep your profit margin high. This, along with your degree, helps you move into a management position.

By understanding how different departments in hotels operate and are dependent upon each other, you are equipped to succeed. Instructors also teach you about leadership, finance, operations, inventory and payroll.
