The part-time Custodial Technician is responsible for cleaning offices, hallways, stairwells, rest rooms, classrooms, maintenance areas and public areas. Each area will have specific duties to attend to. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be flexible in working routine in order to accommodate the many changes of college events. Must be able to work overtime and adapt to unscheduled activities. Must have knowledge of chemical products use and storage. Must be in good physical health and possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to lift 50 lbs. without limitations required. Required knowledge of custodial duties, associated equipment and cleaning solvents. High school diploma or equivalent required. Nursing Instructor

Mental Health Focus

Full time/9 month contract

DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Under the direction of the lead instructor, the full-time Nursing Instructor for Butler Community College is responsible for instruction of nursing students to include classroom, laboratory and clinical area instruction. Must demonstrate thorough and accurate knowledge of the discipline, display an ability to interpret and evaluate theories in the discipline, connect subject matter with related fields, and stay current in subject matter through professional development. Will meet with course faculty to discuss, plan and evaluate course curriculum including objectives, syllabus, content, learning experience, evaluation tools and mechanics of courses. Must have computer skills. Must have a current Kansas RN License. Master’s degree in Nursing required, with a minimum of one year of demonstrated nursing experience in the hospital setting. Admissions Counselor

Test Administrator

Part time/20 hours per week

DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

The part-time Test Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of test administration in the Butler of El Dorado Testing Center. This includes organizing, securing and administering tests while maintaining an environment conducive to fair and accurate testing of students. The person employed in this position will be responsible for management of clerical tasks related to testing, test record keeping, test appointment scheduling, security of testing files, testing conditions, and confidentiality issues as it relates to placement and academic testing. Must be able to multi-task, be able to maintain confidentiality, possess the ability to maintain good working relationships, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must also possess good oral and written communication skills as well as good organizational skills. Experience with computer hardware and software required, as well as experience in records management in both paper and computer uses. Experience in an educational setting preferred. Associate Dean, Health, Early Childhood and Public Safety

DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
The Associate Dean, Health, Early Childhood and Public Safety is responsible for working with the Dean of Health, Early Childhood and Public Safety in the development, implementation, and supervision of curriculum and instruction within the division. The Associate Dean will assist the Dean in the supervision of full-and part-time faculty, instructional support staff, and other personnel as assigned within the division.  The Associate Dean works under the supervision of the Dean of Health, Early Childhood and Public Safety.  Required Knowledge and Skills: must be able to interact professionally and effectively with faculty, administration, staff, students and community; must be able to demonstrate and apply pedagogy to all curriculum areas within the Health, Early Childhood, and Public Safety Division; must demonstrate an understanding of curriculum development to meet current and future workforce development needs; must be able to use independent judgment; must possess excellent oral and written communication skills; must possess excellent organizational and time management skills; must have general knowledge of budgeting and purchasing procedures; and must possess basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database management computer skills.  Required Experience: successful teaching/training experience in a discipline within the division with community college experience preferred; demonstrated success in an organizational leadership role with Administrative/management experience preferred.  Required Educational Background: Master’s degree required.  The applicant may be requested to authorize the College to procure a consumer report(s) for employment purposes.
