Activity Scholarships covering costs of books and tuition (equivalent to that paid by Kansas residents) are offered in Mass Communications (Magazine, Newspaper (to include photography), Radio/TV), Music (instrumental and vocal), BCC Dance Team, Academic Excellence Challenge Team, and Theatre (Performance as well as Technical). Endowed(cash) scholarships are awarded in Art. Most scholarships are awarded on the basis of auditions and interviews scheduled the Spring prior to the following school year. Occasionally, new scholarships are awarded during the Fall for the following Spring semester. Awardees need not major in the field for which the scholarship is granted. Auditions and interviews are arranged by contacting the activity director by e-mail, or by sending through the US Mail the completed Application for Audition form .
