Butler Community College Invites Community to Help Celebrate the Colleges 90th Anniversary.

Butler Community College will be hosting the 14th Annual GrizzlyBacker Mountain Oyster Feed from 5-8 p.m. on March 31 at the Butler County Community Building (206 N. Griffith St.). For the last several years, the Oyster Feed has been the largest single event fundraiser for Butler athletics. The proceeds of this event go to Butler’s athletics.

For $25, attendees get all-you-can-eat mountain oysters, fried catfish, ham and beans and hush puppies. Those who wish to enjoy adult beverages must bring their driver’s license as proof of age. Tickets can be purchased at the door, but are available in advance.

The college is celebrating their 90th Anniversary during this event. Each month, the college features an event to help commemorate this historic year.

The Oyster Feed would not be possible without the help of its generous sponsors.
