Butler’s EduCare Center Awarded a Five-Year Accreditation

Butler Community College’s EduCare Center Learning Lab was awarded a Five-year renewal of its National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Accreditation. Butler’s EduCare is the only nationally accredited center in the Butler County area. Along with its accreditation, the EduCare Center has received three consecutive five-star ratings from the Kansas Quality Rating Improvement System.

Since 1985, NAEYC's national accreditation system has set the standard for educators of young children under the age of nine. Accreditation is based on a combination of the program’s children, community partners, teachers, and administrators. The goal of the program is to ensure high-quality learning experiences for every child.

The Educare Center Learning Lab is a community learning space that allows students to complete practicums.
