Citing Sources in ProQuest
In your results list, click on the box next to the article that you want to use. |

Or when you are reading the article, you can mark the documents at the top of the screen. The next step is to click on the “My Research” tab. It will let you know how many items you have marked. |

Click on “Create your bibliography”. |

Choose the citation style that your teacher requires for your paper. You can then email, print, or download the citation to cut and paste into your Works Cited*

There are corrections that you need to make after you cut and paste. MLA and APA format requires that the last name be first in the citation so they will need to be switched. For the bottom example, the citation will begin with Silvester-Carr. Denise.
If you are using MLA format, you must delete the red letters and insert L. W. Nixon Library, El Dorado, KS, after the phrase, ProQuest.
