Off Campus Students
Butler Community College offers library support services tailored to meet the needs of students taking classes away from campus. Six librarians at the El Dorado campus, five each at the Andover and Rose Hill sites, and one each at the Augusta and McConnell sites serve students who request reference assistance and referral services.
Off Campus Database Use
Online Databases
To access the online databases from home log into your Pipeline account. Then click on the databases you need and you will be prompted for your Pipeline Username and Pipeline Password again. Much research can be accomplished on the web. To provide authoritative and accurate information, we select and pay for excellent databases of articles and access to newspapers for your use.

E-Books
To access E-Books off campus go to your Pipeline account and click on the Library Databases link at the top of the page. Under the Books column click on the netLibrary link then you will be able to search the E-Books by keyword, subject, title or author.
... If you are on campus go to the Nixon Library Catalog on the libraries web page. In the box by Enter search word

Interlibrary Loan
If you need to find a book that is not in our catalog you may Interlibrary Loan from another library. You may borrow from the 3 million items on the Kansas Library Catalog at http://skyways.lib.ks.us or 50 million items in libraries around the world.
