The lab has a TV, CD, DVD player, tape decks, Videocassette players, and a turntable for listening assignments.
AutoCAD
The library has AutoCad installed on a computer and laptop for use during the library hours.

CHECK-IN:
Library books may be placed in the book drops inside the building, at the front steps, or in the north parking lot outside. All tapes, CDs, DVD's,audio books and videos should be returned inside to prevent damage.
RENEWALS:
If not on hold, items may be renewed for up to 3 weeks.
OVERDUE, LOST, or DAMAGED LIBRARY MATERIALS:
The patron is responsible for lost or damaged items. The patron will be responsible for the price of the book, plus a $10.00 processing fee for each item. Magazines have a $5.00 processing fee added to the price. Holds may be put on the students grade for overdue books.
PURCHASE:
For sale at the Circulation Desk: transparencies -- $.50; floppy Disks -- $1.00 and CD-RW $1.50.

Computers
The computers in the library offer Microsoft Office XP and Internet access during library hours.
Copy/Printer Machine
The library has one patron use copy/printer machine located in the front of library by the circulation desk. All copies and print jobs are .05 each. Transparencies are .50 each.

Dennis Martens Computer Lab
There are 9 terminals in the lab offering Internet access and Microsoft Office. The lab is open during library hours. Instructional handouts are available on topics such as getting started on the Internet, citing electronic sources, and Internet sites on various topics. Floppy Disks and CD-RW's are available to purchase at the Circulation Desk or you may use your own. Downloading to the hard drive is not permitted.

Microfilms & Reader/Printer
The library maintains a collection of newspapers (New York Times, Christian Science Monitor, Wichita Eagle) on microfilm, and older issues of periodicals on microfilm and microfiche. Reader/printers are located in the AV Lab.

, including help with bibliographic instruction a particular topic, effective use of our online subscription databases. Internet search skills, how to find and cite print and Internet sources, and how to conduct research in general. The Dennis Martins Lab or the library classroom may be reserved for classroom instruction. If you don't find what you're looking for, PLEASE ASK - we will be happy to assist.

Reserves
Instructors can place special reading, viewing or listening assignments on reserve for students to check out at the circulation desk. Copies for instructional purposes are made at the secretarial center rather than the library.

Tours and Training
Library Tours or Individual Library Instruction appointments are available to students, staff, faculty and the community.The library staff can provide an overview of resources including the online catalog, subscription online databases, interlibrary loan service, and reference service. More detailed topics include effective Internet searching, critical evaluation of web sites, how to be successful in writing a research paper, tips on typing papers, email techniques, and help with Campus Pipeline. Wireless Laptops
The library has wireless laptops for library only checkout. They maybe checked out for a period of 2 hours. The laptops have access to the Internet and word processing.
