Gerontology Certificate Program

Take the Pure Learning Power of Butler Community College and the impeccable reputation of Butler's nursing department and you know you'll be getting education that is second-to-none.

What's better is that you can take all of the courses wherever YOU are. All courses are internet-based. That means you can do class work whenever its convenient for you, wherever its convenient for you. All courses may be taken for college credit or Continuing Education Units (CEU). Butler is approved as a provider of continuing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing.

Courses are broken down into three clusters: The first cluster is geared toward administrative and leadership development. The second cluster deals with social and ethical types of courses. The third cluster covers the actual nursing care of older adults. Following completion of each cluster, students will earn a certificate of achievement from Butler.
