- Graduated from Wichita State University with BSN and a minor in Education in 1973.
- Graduate work and degree from Kansas State University in MS in education in 1979.
- Department of Nursing curriculum coordinator since 1995.
Area of Professional Interest:
- Critical Care Nursing
- Developed the cardiac rehab program for what is now Via Christi Health System.
Area of Personal Interest:
- Raising a husband and two boys as well as a Labrador retriever.
- Enjoys boating
