Internship II
Course Outline
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
EG 194. Internship II. One to three hours credit. Prerequisites: Internship I and Approval of Departmental Coordinator or Team Leader. The course enables students to gain practical work experience in unpaid-entry or advanced-level placements. The employing supervisor and work environment must be approved by the coordinator. Topics of special interest to the student will be developed. On-the-job training objectives as well as seminars and research are components for evaluation. Alternating (full-time) or parallel (part-time) experiences are acceptable.

- Identify the key concepts from seminar assignments, projects, and/or research.
- Compare the value of the experiential component to traditional assignments.

METHODS OF INSTRUCTION:
The following will assist students in achieving course objectives: on-the-job training, seminar/workshop activity, mentoring by field faculty, coordinators, and colleagues, and textbook and handout reading assignments.
