COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the completion of this course the students should:

- execute all music in Pep Band repertoire in terms of note accuracy, rhythm, phrasing, articulation, intonation, dynamics, and tempo.
- discharge logistical responsibilities through requisite participation in all phases of staging, transfer, setup, striking, and return of the bands equipment.
- attend and participate fully in all required music rehearsals and performances.

METHODS OF INSTRUCTION:
Methods of class instruction may include: rehearsal; class discussion; exercises in aural skills and music theory.

Telecourses: Independent study of audio/video
materials augmented by text and study guide; collaboration and participation
with class members and faculty via available means. Faculty role is facilitator
of learning experiences.
METHODS OF EVALUATION:
- Continual observation and monitoring by instructor
- Attendance and participation records
