COURSE OUTLINE
SPECIAL TOPICS -BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
BS 253/254 Special Topics - Behavioral Sciences. 3
hours credit. Prerequisite: Approval of division dean and instructor.
Topics of specific interest to the student will be developed. These topics
will be established by student's needs or requirements. Areas of specific
needs will be pursued and instructional material that
lends itself to current trends or topics that are needed to supplement
normal classroom instruction will be offered.
TEXTBOOK:
No standard text will be used. Textbooks and/or reference
material will be used when needed.
Instructional materials will be developed for each topic.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Specific objectives will be developed after the topic
or topics are established.
These objectives will:
- meet the special needs of students through topics in seminars.
- provide topics for specific interest groups.
- provide for students to meet their educational goals and needs.
The method of instruction will be developed after the topic or topics are established.
METHODS OF EVALUATION:
The method of evaluation will be developed after the
topic or topics are established.
The grading system will conform to the policy and procedures on grading
and testing developed
by the instructor.
