Strategic Priorities for the Political Science

• Implement a performance management review, utilizing internal and external political science standards, which documents learning. This will be accomplished through standardized assessments.
• Implement a performance management review of the department by the students which documents degree of stakeholder satisfaction. This will be accomplished through administering an online survey.
• Implement a performance management review of the department by the instructors of the department which documents level of instructor satisfaction. This will be accomplished through administering an online survey.
• Meet the growing stakeholder demands by teaching at multiple locations and using multiple delivery methods.
• Promote enhancement and improvement in teaching by attending professional conferences whenever possible.
• Maintain a Political Science internet group to keep all instructors current with changes and events in the department.
