Welding Technology

Welding Technology

Get a bead on a career that's white hot with opportunity.

Your Butler experience will prepare you to apply technical knowledge and skills to join or cut metal surfaces, while studying in various welding and cutting processes, blueprint reading, and metallurgy (both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.)

Our welding program offers a certificate as well as an Associate's Degree of Applied Science in Welding. The certificate program may be completed in one year and prepares students for their AWS Certification Exam. Both tracks are based on GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW welding techniques.
