Interactive, Digital and 3D 'Boot Camp'
Earn your Interactive, Digital and 3D Technology associate degree in Only 24 Weeks!
Got Grit? Boot up, lock in and get ready to grind because it’s intense, but worth it! If you want it fast and want it now, then be prepared to work hard and make it happen. Start in June and earn your degree in December.
The Interactive, Digital and 3D Technology “Boot Camp” allows you to earn your associate degree in Interactive, Digital and 3D Technology in less than seven months. The Boot Camp is a highly intensive version of Butler's traditional, 60-credit hour Interactive, Digital and 3D (ID3D) program. This focused-delivery method places the degree in your hand sooner.
To earn your degree, you will take face-to-face classes — sometimes up to eight hours a day — as well as some online courses. You also work with a team of fellow students who share your passion for the industry. Through the ID3D Boot Camp you work alongside experienced faculty who guide you every step of the way in earning a degree while gaining industry credentials in Photoshop, 3D Studio Max and Unity Game Engine at the same time.
BUILD YOUR INDUSTRY-READY SKILLS
This intensive program is designed for recent high school graduates, displaced workers and those needing training and expertise without a two-year commitment.
You also receive advice from industry professionals as to which designs to include in your portfolio. As you build your portfolio, you increase your ability to demonstrate your interactive technology skills with employers.
Interested in a traditional two year pathway?
We understand the fast-track boot camp program will not work for everyone. If you are interested in studying in the Interactive, Digital & 3D Technology program at Butler Community College but you can't meet the demands of this program, we encourage you to investigate our traditional program designed to be completed over two years. You will be able to go at a pace that allows you to work and meet other obligations, while you learn how to create interactive and educational simulations and games.
