Marketing Degree Articulation Agreements & Partnerships
While many of the classes in the Marketing and Management program transfer seamlessly to numerous four-year colleges and universities, Butler has also sought out specific, shared commitments to increasing opportunities for student access to and success in higher education. By clarifying transfer policies and procedures, which assure transfer between programs, partner institutions seek to assist students in making a seamless transfer from the associate to the baccalaureate degree.
Schools which have partnered with Butler’s Marketing and Management program include area schools such as Friends University as well as out of state schools such as Northwest Missouri State University, via their distance education program.
Bachelor's Degree with Ottawa University
Students who receive an Associate of Science degree in marketing & management from Butler Community College will be able to take Ottawa University classes and receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. The Higher Learning Commission granted accreditation to Ottawa University for this degree model.
This program is designed for the working student in mind. Classes will meet at the Andover campus from 6 - 10 p.m. one night a week.
Each class will meet with a professor for two hours a week for eight weeks and online for a similar amount of time.
In this way, each student will complete four classes per semester. All students will go through the two year process as a “unit” – taking the same sequence of classes.
