What is MyCAA?

The Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) Program is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 of financial assistance to eligible military spouses who are pursuing a license or credentials, certification or Associate's degree in a high demand, portable career field.

What does MyCAA Pay for?

MyCAA Financial Assistance (FA) pays for expenses such as secondary and post–secondary education and training programs, tuition, licensing and credentialing fees. MyCAA Financial Assistance (FA) pays for 100% of Career Tech’s Training’s programs; zero out of pocket expense to you. Our programs offer mobile, high demand, high growth careers. Training is all online, self paced, allowing you more time with loved ones.

Who Is Eligible?

 

  • Spouse of an active duty Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine service member, or activated Reserve member in pay grades E1–E5, W1–W2, or O1–O2.
  • If the spouse of National Guard and/or AGR member, the sponsor must be on federal Title 10 active duty orders as reported in DEERS.
  • Spouses of Guard/Reserve members in an Alert, Transition Assistance, or Post Deployment status are not eligible.
