Grammy Award Winner Will Host Butler’s Fall Concert

Butler Community College’s Vocal Music is Performing Their Annual Fall Concert Hosted by a Grammy Award Winner.

Butler Community College’s Vocal Music Department is performing their annual Fall Concert. Grammy Award Winner and Butler Alum Nick Stoppel will host the first of a three concert series: “From Page to Stage."

The 120-voice Concert Choir, timeless Chamber Singers, glamorous Headliners, chic Butler Ladies and the trendy A Cappella group will entertain the crowd each evening with a wide-range of music – from pop to jazz. The music includes “Stronger” by Kelly Clarkson, “Natural Woman” by Aretha Franklin and arrangements of works by authors Robert Frost and Dr. Seuss (Theodor Geisel).

The Vocal Music faculty includes Valerie Lippoldt-Mack, Chair of Vocal Music and Dance, as well as Matthew Udland, Chad Ingram and Nick Engels.

Price: $5 for adults and $2 for students and seniors. Butler students get in free with Butler ID, but reservations are highly encouraged.

Time: 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11-13 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 13

Location: Fine Arts Building, College Theatre, Butler Community College, El Dorado campus.
