Butler Fine Arts Department to Present 3rd Annual Holiday Showcase

Celebrate the holiday season with the Butler Community College Fine Arts Department as they present their 3rd annual Holiday Dance and Art Showcase. The event will take place on Thursday, December 12 at 7 p.m. in the Butler Performing Arts building in El Dorado.

This production features a festive selection of dance performances from Butler Ballet and Tap groups and vocal arrangements by the Butler Headliners, Smorgaschords, Gold Standard and Noteables. These musical acts include a handful of holiday favorites such as “We Wish You the Merriest,” “You’re a Mean One...” and “Santa Baby.”    

In addition to these performances, audience members can expect to see 8 presentations from the Art department. These segments will be dedicated to showcasing wearable art on stage, with each piece presented with musical accompaniment. 

“We have done this event the past 3 years and it is one of our favorite traditions!” says Butler Lead Instructor of Vocal Music and Dance Valerie Mack.
