Theme for collaboration between dance, art, vocal music and theatre programs is “Dance and Art IS Life!”

The Butler Community College Art, Digital Media and Communications (ADMC) department will present its Spring Dance and Art Showcase on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 7:00 pm in the College Theatre on the El Dorado campus. A collaboration between the dance, art, vocal music and theatre programs, the theme for the evening is “Dance and Art IS Life!”

Ballet, tap, modern, jazz and hip hop dance ensembles will be featured, along with wearable art created and modeled by Butler students.

Vocal Music and Dance Department Chair Valerie Mack and dance instructors Emily Blaine and Bailey Bucholtz choreographed the various performances. Art Department Chair Trisha Coates guided her 3D Art & Design students to create the wearable art.
