Diane Wahto
This is my fourteenth year of teaching at Butler and my thirty-fifth year of teaching, either full-or part-time.I have a BA in English from Western Michigan University, an MA in English from Pittsburgh State University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Wichita State University. I am a published writer, having had my poetry published in several journals, as well as having essays and letters to the editor published on a regular basis. I have three grown children and five grandchildren. My husband and I live in Wichita with our four dogs. Being active in KNEA and Butler Community CollegeEA, as well as in the Mainstream Coalition and the Peace and Social Justice Center in Wichita keeps me busy. I like to read, go to movies, take walks by the river near my house, and just sit and look out my window. I enjoy watching TV and really like Mystery and NYPD Blue. I also like to read detective novels, especially those written by women or with women as the main characters. Diane Wahto dwahto@butlercc.edu |
