Produce feature stories, music programs for podcasts and television comedy sketches. You develop reporting skills, like interviewing, writing and designing pieces for live and on-demand audiences.
Our students compete each year through the Kansas Association of Broadcasters (KAB) where they put their work up against other Kansas collegiate media students. Butler’s students have claimed more than 100 first-place awards, 90 second-place awards and 100 honorable mentions - and counting - since KAB has sponsored a student competition.
