Butler CC and KU Transfer Guide
Butler Community College offers an RN to BSN and RN to MSN Bridge Nursing Concurrent Enrollment Pathway (NCEP). Building on the academic foundation of the RN program, courses are taken 100% online concurrently (with clinical, practicum and immersion hours completed locally) during RN coursework.
Kickstart Your Career
By enrolling in a pathway with concurrent BSN courses, you'll learn hands-on nursing skills and achieve the core competencies of a bachelor's-prepared nurse in half the time.
Take a Step Forward
The RN to BSN and RN to MSN concurrent enrollment pathway allows you to accelerate your continuing education goals and puts you on the fast track to full-time employment.
Set Yourself Apart
NCEP courses help you develop advanced clinical reasoning, problem-solving skills and a commitment to earn a follow-up degree. This can give you a distinct advantage in job interviews.
Get Ready to Lead
MSNs are the new standard for nursing leadership positions and is the required degree for certain roles in clinical and community settings. You can also develop your skills towards a career in public health or informatics. You can use this NCEP to move into the dual degree MBNMSN-L, an accelerated pathway toward an MBNMSN. The required BSN courses are prerequisites that prepare students for MSNs.
Save Money
Few nursing degrees offer more qualified nursing graduates than Butler does. We save you money and offer flexible schedules to fit your life away from school. With this NCEP, there’s nothing better than spending less to get more.
Pathway requirements and pricing are subject to change. Pre-licensure nursing students who begin or resume attendance may not be eligible to utilize all institutional aid/scholarships for tuition and fees once accepted into the clinical portion of the program.
