Butler Fine Arts Hosting "Going the Distance" Ceramics Exhibition

The Erman B. White Gallery at Butler Community College in El Dorado is hosting a sculptural ceramics invitational entitled "Going the Distance."

Butler art professor Kevin Kelly explained what makes the exhibition special. "Going the Distance features artists with regional ties who are pushing materials, processes, presentations and content to unexpected places," said Kelly. Participating artists include Linda Ganstrom, Jennifer Holt, Gabriel Poucher, Byron Ashley, Tyler Quintin, Ted Adler and Ben Ahlvers.

The exhibition runs through April 1 during regular gallery hours, Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. An open house and reception will be held on Thursday, March 5 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
