Mass Communication scholarships are available in a variety of amounts as cash endowed scholarships payable toward your tuition. Students applying must have earned at least a 2.0 GPA in their most recent semester.
Butler Radio (KBTL-FM) is operated by scholarship students who broadcast music, sports, and campus news throughout Butler County. Scholarship students appear on air, produce, and direct programs for our YouTube channel through Arktos Moving Images.

Our student staff maintains a tradition of state and national honors. The Lantern is published multiple times a year by and for students. Scholarship journalists write, edit and produce the newspaper in modern journalism facilities. If you have photography, cartooning or other media skills, check us out.

The student full-color magazine, The Grizzly, serves as a history of the academic, social, and athletic activities of Butler students while they attend college. Publication is in the hands of scholarship journalists and the faculty advisor.
