Learn to tell beautiful stories through dance, expressing yourself using art, drama and musical connection as a dancer. Solo and group performances will challenge you with innovative dance techniques while refining your choreography, focus and range of motion. Expand your performances by taking the opportunity to audition for musical theatre, using your own choreography if you choose.

Studying dance also produces practical benefits, sharpening critical thinking skills, innovation, and your ability to be an effective team member. Dance classes also fulfill physical education credits for non-majors.

Our gifted, experienced instructors prepare you for the opportunity to perform two dance showcases per year before live audiences. They’ll work closely with you to perfect your art of presentation, grace and athleticism as you earn a dance degree.

No matter what your dream job is, our instructors will give you the building blocks to earn your bachelor’s degree at a four-year university or start your career right away in positions like:
