WIRED - Enhancing Online Engagement

Wired is a training for digitally inclined teachers May 2021 and is new and electrifying! We’re upping the amperage with this blended program. Butler Community College, AVID, and Friends University invite college and public-school faculty into a week-long training in high engagement and social presence. Through 24 hours in a traditional setting and additional work online, faculty will craft AVID’s high engagement strategies using digital tools.

Wired will be high voltage, high engagement all the time. In addition to outside individual work, we’ll be doing hands-on course revision, syllabus tweaking, and digital content creation.  The sparks will fly from the synergy of Butler faculty, K-12 colleagues, and many faculty from other colleges.
