High School Enrollment Process

Counselor Year at a Glance

August

September

October 

  • Send rosters/enrollment to HAP office
  • Facilitate info sessions, application tutorials, testing and enrollment dates as scheduled
  • October 18 – spring enrollment begins

November 

  • Facilitate info sessions, application tutorials, testing and enrollment dates as scheduled 
  • November 8 – summer enrollment begins 
  • Senior Day – November 12 in Andover and November 13 in El Dorado 

December 

  • Finalize spring enrollment 
  • Send mid-year transcripts as needed 
  • Connect with faculty for spring - send faculty info on teaching in HS/calendars

January 

  • Roster checks
  • Enrollment clean-up
  • Check enrollment numbers – minimum enrollment
  • Facilitate CEP agreement signatures
  • Confirm last student day for spring semester

February 

  • Start planning fall enrollment
  • Finish CEP agreement signatures
  • Fall course schedules to HAP office
  • Receive Accounts Receivable hold report
  • Schedule info sessions, application tutorials, testing and enrollment dates

March 

  • Send rosters/enrollment to HAP office
  • Facilitate info sessions, application tutorials, testing and enrollment dates as scheduled
  • March 21 – fall enrollment begins

April 

  • Facilitate info sessions, application tutorials, testing and enrollment dates as scheduled
  • Junior Day – mid-month
  • Let HAP Office know last day in office for academic year

May 

  • Finalize fall enrollment
  • Send year end transcripts as needed
  • Let HAP Office know return date for new academic year
