About Pre-Engineering

Pre engineering students working on a project

Transition into pre-engineering while enjoying small classes and lower tuition bills. You benefit from individualized attention from physics and math tutors as you learn engineering basics that help transition you directly into an engineering program at a four-year college. At Butler, you get both the theoretical and hands-on elements that are necessary for an engineering degree.

If you’re not ready to take calculus your first semester, that’s okay. You can work at a pace that’s comfortable for you.

Butler’s academically-challenging pre-engineering degree takes you step-by-step through calculus, differential equations, statistics, physics and basic engineering courses. When you graduate, you have a strong foundation that serves you well at the next level.
