Butler’s Office of Career and Workforce Education announces providers of two new courses
The CE Shop and Walnut River Brewing Company offer unique opportunities for skill growth.
Butler Community College’s Office of Career and Workforce Education, formerly known as BETA, is pleased to announce two new career resource and learning partnerships. The courses will be presented in conjunction with the national real estate organization The CE Shop and El Dorado’s Walnut River Brewing Company, respectively.
The exciting new partnership with The CE Shop will provide Butler students with an all-in-one real estate educational platform featuring pre-licensing, exam prep, post-licensing and continuing education packages. "We have had people requesting real estate related courses over the years and this opportunity helps us empower area professionals to broaden their horizons and elevate their businesses to greater profitability," said Jon Cressler, Assistant Director of the Office of Career and Workforce Education.
Over the course of eight weeks starting in February 2024, the “BrewU: Beer Crafting 101” certificate program will provide hands-on training and experience for brewing enthusiasts, who will have the opportunity to work with Walnut River Brewing Company’s industry-standard brewing equipment. “These [courses] provide aspiring brewers with the knowledge, skills, and passion required to push the boundaries of brewing, creating unique and innovative flavors that enrich our beer culture," said Cressler.
