Through a path of unwavering dedication to staying ahead of the technological curve, the division has consistently provided exceptional value and satisfaction to college stakeholders. Bill Young, CIO of Butler Community College, proudly reflects on receiving the 2023 Info-Tech CIO Award in the "Growth Leader" category, saying, "This award is a testament to the incredible teamwork and dedication of our Information Services division. I believe in empowering our employees to be successful by fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, autonomy, and purpose. As CIO it’s not just about managing technology; it's about inspiring and enabling our team to push boundaries, explore uncharted territory, and align their work with a larger sense of purpose. When our people thrive, our technology thrives, and, most importantly, our students and institution thrive."

The winners of the 2023 Info-Tech CIO Awards were selected from hundreds of eligible contenders and were determined based on their IT satisfaction and value scores, as assessed, and quantified by their direct business stakeholders.
