About Apprenticeships

Registered Apprenticeship is an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers can develop and prepare their future workforce, and individuals can obtain paid work experience, receive progressive wage increases, classroom instruction, and a nationally-recognized credential.

  • 144 HRS minimum of accredited classroom training must be completed for each year of apprenticeship which can be accomplished through classroom, occupational or industry courses, electronic media, or instruction provided by Butler or a company sponsor.
  • 2,000 HRS of paid on-the-job-training provided by employer
  • Apprenticeships don’t have to be technical. They span across all industries including office careers.
