Exercise Science and Personal Training

Butler’s department of Exercise Science provides you with the opportunity to explore multiple career opportunities in the field of exercise science, as well as experience the importance of living a healthy life.

Degree Program tracks: 

Exercise Science- This field of study incorporates learning principles of anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, athletic training, sport psychology, and social sciences. This program will provide opportunities to gain an understanding of sport performance through practical, hands on learning experiences such as sport testing and evaluation, motion analysis, VO2max, Resting Metabolic Rate, and biometric screening.

Athletic Training - offers its students a variety of practical experience opportunities to serve and support the health and well-being of the student athletes in all Butler Grizzly Sports.

Butler’s Fitness and Wellness also provides the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of activity courses including:
