Banner Planned Outage - March 27-28 2024

Banner will be unavailable from Wednesday at 6 PM until Thursday at 11 AM. Banner Self-Service will be unavailable from March 27 at 6 PM until March 28 at 6 PM.

How to Enroll

To enroll in classes, students must first apply for Admission and complete the Enrollment Checklist

Enrollment dates can be found on the Butler calendar


Students can enroll one of three ways:

1. Enrolling In Person with an Advisor (New, Current, or Returning Students)

  • Students are welcome to walk-in Monday through Friday at any location. No appointment is necessary. 
  • Students can schedule an appointment 

2. Enrolling Remotely with an Advisor

  • Students can schedule either a phone or virtual appointment
    • Phone (for Current, Returning or Transfer students only): The advisor will call you and walk you through enrolling via your MyButlerCC account.
    • Virtual (New, Current, Returning or Transfer students): Join the virtual appointment through Microsoft Teams and the advisor will show you how to enroll via your MyButlerCC account.

3. Enrolling Online without an Advisor (Current, Returning, or Guest Students)

  • Must be a current, guest, or re-admitted returning student and in good standing. New students should enroll with an advisor in person or virtually for their first semester.
  • Complete and submit the Release to Enroll form listing appropriate class(es) (must be completed each semester).
    • If you do not know what class(es) you need, walk in and meet with an advisor or make an appointment. 
  • An advisor will email you in 1 business day letting you know if you have been released to enroll. 
  • Follow the Add/Drop Classes directions to enroll online via your MyButlerCC account.
