Adult Education Partnerships

We appreciate and want to thank our many partners. Some provide funding, professional development opportunities, and support services while others work with us daily to deliver the best possible services to our students.

Wichita Indochinese Center

Wichita, KS 67214

The Wichita Indochinese Center has partnered with Butler Community College.  This collaboration expands the college’s adult education program and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs. Through this partnership, Butler and the Indochinese Center are able to help more members of the community with basic skills in reading and math, language acquisition, digital literacy skills and workforce competence.

Sherry Watkins, Butler’s Director of Adult Education, serves as the Indochinese Center’s director as well. This collaboration allows students from the Center and Butler to take Adult Education classes at either facility. The staff at the Indochinese Center, located at 2502 E Douglas Ave. in Wichita, continues to offer ESL, GED, citizenship classes, social and cultural adaptation, and other education and life skills classes.

Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available at the Indochinese Center. Both facilities offer tutoring, as well as face-to-face courses.
